About Us

King of Urban Fiction is the bold voice behind the stories of the streets — the overlooked, the misunderstood, and the real. Founded by John Bryant Jr. (aka JB), a man who lived the struggle and rose through it, this platform brings authentic urban storytelling to the forefront.

From Rochester to Chicago, Atlanta’s Bluff to Miami’s Overtown, JB lived the stories he writes about. After earning his A.S. in Liberal Arts, he transformed his experience into narratives that connect, educate, and empower. King of Urban Fiction exists to give voice to America’s forgotten people — to tell the stories of the hoods from the inside out.
